Our Goal

Through our efforts, we seek to raise national awareness on the importance of seagrass meadows for climate adaptation and mitigation.

Specifically we will:

  • Develop a regional field-verified seagrass map and carbon assessments

  • Increase regional research and policy capacity

  • Support the inclusion of seagrass in national policies such as the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement
